This card used to call the AQ-6300M the easiest atrazine recommendation on the page. That was wrong, and the error is worth naming because it is easy to repeat: the system does hold an active NSF/ANSI 53 certification, and NSF/ANSI 53 is the standard atrazine reduction is certified under — but holding the standard is not the same as carrying the claim. Aquasana's listing for this model names lead, mercury, cysts, PFOA/PFOS, VOCs, pharmaceuticals and microplastics. It does not name atrazine. Carbon block is the correct mechanism for a dissolved triazine and reduction is plausible, but nobody has tested and listed it, so it stays out of our claims. What remains is a genuinely strong under-sink filter with one of the broadest verified claim lists here, fast flow, no storage tank, and retained minerals. The trade-off is a 6-month carbon block and a higher annual cost than a faucet filter. If atrazine specifically brought you to this page, the PUR faucet mount is the certified answer.
