Check a ZIP code for a boil water advisory

A ZIP code is not a water system. Enter one and this page shows the public water systems our database holds for it, and what the state agency's own list said about each of them the last time we read it.

Check a ZIP code

Enter a ZIP code and we will show you the water systems we hold for it, and what the state agency's list said about each one when we last read it.

What a result here is, and what it is not

Every answer is scoped to one named agency's list and stamped with the time we last read that list. Where we do not read a state's list, the result says so and links to the agency instead of guessing on its behalf.

One ZIP code can be served by several water systems, and one water system usually serves many ZIP codes. A notice issued for one of the systems serving your ZIP code may not cover your address, and the notice your own utility sent you is the authority on that.

This is not a statement that your water is safe. It means the state's list did not name your system. Your utility is the authority for your own water.
