The Waterdrop 15UA is a $53.99 (Amazon, 2026-09-04) under-sink carbon filter that runs off the existing cold-water line with no drain, no electricity and no second faucet. IAPMO R&T file W-11590 lists WD-15UA at 0.75 gpm and 19,000 gallons for exactly one reduction claim, "Aesthetic Chlorine, Taste and Odor" under NSF/ANSI 42-2022, while its retail listing markets lead, PFAS and PFOA/PFOS reduction that no certifier listing we opened covers.[1][2][3][4][5]

Best for

  • Municipal-water kitchens that want better-tasting, chlorine-reduced water out of the tap they already have: the system runs on line pressure alone, sends nothing to drain, needs no power, and Waterdrop's own performance data sheet records a 92.7% average reduction of chlorine taste and odour from a 2.0 mg/L challenge.
